Meet Dr Teo

When you meet Dr Teo, you will discover that she is warm, friendly and gentle. This demeanour sits perfectly alongside a great and deep passion for her care of patients.

I am very privileged to be able to help people care for their mouths and create beautiful smiles. This privilege is held with gratitude.

It’s my desire to provide the best possible care for my patients in an atmosphere of love, warmth and comfort. I love creating beautiful work, helping provide patients with the confidence to smile again, as well as relieving dental pain, fixing broken teeth, educating patients on how best to care for their oral health, and providing comprehensive solutions for their teeth and gums.

It’s important to me that my patients enjoy the best possible dental and general health.

I love getting things as perfect as possible, the fine detailed work under magnification. I enjoy interacting with patients, building relationships, and getting to know them over time.  I’ve been privileged to see children growing up, couples getting married, and bringing their children in… It is lovely to be able to stay in touch with the community. That’s what I love about practising dentistry in Geelong.

Very importantly, we care deeply for our patients. We do everything we can to provide a comfortable and welcoming space that makes them feel at ease (and, for many, at more peace).  This is a place that people can come to and know they will be well-cared for.”

Loving Life in Geelong

Dr Teo first moved to Geelong in 1993, where she completed high school. The Geelong lifestyle appeals to Dr Teo for many reasons. Those who live here already know that Geelong has the perfect mix of healthy outdoor activities and a sophisticated urban lifestyle. You’re likely to see Dr Teo running on local jogging tracks, cycling on the road, working out at the gym, refining her strokes and enjoying the company of others on the golf course, or sharing conversation and laughter with friends and family in our local cafes.

A Strong Commitment to Continuing Education

Dr Teo regularly attends continuing education courses to provide herself with up-to-date knowledge about all aspects of dentistry, such as those relating to dental cosmetics, crowns and bridges, endodontics (root canal therapy), and complex treatment procedures. She quickly adopts the latest clinical techniques, which come strongly supported by clinical and scientific literature.

She also dedicates much time to studying dental journals and scientific literature to stay up-to-date with advances in dentistry.

Her philosophy is simple: Dr Teo only uses new dental techniques and materials which have been rigorously tested and proven to be effective. This is “evidence-based practice.” It underpins everything Dr Teo does at Lovely Dental Care.

“I aim to provide the best, most up-to-date, scientifically and clinically proven care for my patients.”

Comprehensive Dentistry for All Ages

Dental health has a strong influence on a person’s general health and well-being. We keep our patients well-informed about:

  • Their dental health
  • Its effect on their general health, and
  • What treatment options are available to them.

Dr Teo likes to spend time with new and current patients. She feels that it’s important for them to know:

  • What state their teeth and gums are in
  • What’s happened in the past
  • What she and her team can do to help them manage the existing issues and try to prevent the same diseases from happening in the future.
